Section Four Introduction

In the last Section, we revisited some key preparation points to help you get the most out of this Metabolic Detoxification Plan, learned about the EPIC Food Pyramid and its subcomponents, outlined shopping considerations and an EPIC Shopping List, learned about Lectins, how to avoid them, and how to prepare food to lower the lectin-count, learned a few Nutrition Label shortcuts, and ended with a real-world grocery store assignment.

And now it is time for us to begin your EPIC Five Plan Metabolic Detoxification Diet Program.

The following outlines a sample 21 day (three week) “detox” diet plan (and a guide on what to do from day twenty-two and beyond).

The thing to remember is that this diet is intended to be an ongoing diet structure designed to help you lower inflammation, stabilize weight, decrease pain, increase energy by increasing the supportive nutrients in your diet and decreasing the amount of toxins in your system.

You will find that some days the diet is very easy to stick to  - and other days you will be cursing our name to holy christ.

But you will also find that when you stick to this program consistently, you will likely have few symptoms, more energy, clearer thoughts as well as feeling happier and an overwhelming improved state of general wellbeing.

When you find yourself struggling, immediately return to your Big Why - and drink a full liter of water (we often confuse true thirst for hunger - and remember that 80% or more of us our chronically dehydrated). You will find that if you stay hydrated this program will be immensely easier than otherwise.

You will also likely find that when you “break” (or deviate) from this program, symptoms will creep back in, energy fall, and thoughts become more jumbled. IF you do find yourself in this situation, simply return to the beginning of the program, each and every time.

And you will find that every time to reset and stick to it - even just a little longer - you will likely feel almost immediately better, which will reinforce over time that this diet is the correct diet program for ongoing health, happiness, and vitality.
