Unit 1: Your "Big Why"

Unit One: Dig Deep and Define Your “Big Why”

Congratulations, again, on your big decision to become the best that you can be – because that is indeed the path that you have chosen.

Sure, it would be easier to sit idly by and “drink to the devil and dance to the doctor” - but that way of thinking has turned the United States into the most expensive, least effective, and most dangerous health care on the planet - not to mention that we, the citizens, are almost all suffering from at least one chronic disease and more often multiple chronic diseases and unexplained chronic symptoms.

We are sick!

And if more medications were the answer, we would be the healthiest country on the planet, given that we consume up to 80% of all of the world’s pharmaceuticals - and yet we are, according to every governmental health agency and new outlet worldwide, the sickest industrialized country on the face of the planet.

Folks, we deserve better - YOU deserve better.

And choosing a different path is exactly what you needed to do - so, again: Good Job!

But, please, let’s stop and take a moment to consider WHY you have chosen this road – because as we have stated, the road to health is full of challenges.

But with each breakthrough and improvement, you will look back and say, “This is totally worth every trial, every penny, every effort.”

This is because no matter what life throws at you, you are still in control of how you treat your body – what you eat, how you exercise and move, your hydration, sleep, and stress reduction (what is collective known as “The EPIC Five”).

Dig deep for your Why. Why do you want more energy? Why do you want to be free of pain and infirmity? Why do you want to get rid of your symptoms? What will you do when you feel better? How will this affect YOUR LIFE?

My Big Why was really simple: I want to be the best dad, husband, doctor, entrepreneur, friend, and human being that I can be. I want to have the greatest positive impact on this planet that I can. I want to leave behind a legacy that will help others for years to come. I don’t want to ever depend on anyone and I always want to ensure that my health is strong enough that those that do depend on me can always depend on me. I refuse to succumb to “old age” and will guard my vitality like it is golden. Because it is. My Health is my Wealth. And I will never go back to where I was just a few years ago.

Whatever your BIG WHY may be, we are excited to be a part of it – and this program is an important first step in the process of making your BIG WHY become a reality.

You are going to receive an abundance of wonderful and healthful benefits throughout the completion of your journey to wellness. And a “New YOU” is waiting just around the corner - and EPIC is prepared to partner with you to reach your goals, whatever those may be!

We highly recommend an “Actionable Planner/Journal”, like Charfen’s Momentum Planner, which Dr. Jason and Rachel Bradley use personally and with their entire EPIC Team (https://www.charfenshop.com/) or the Best Self Journal (https://bestself.co/). These types of journals/planners allow you to organize your thoughts, but also prioritize, strategize action and changes, and hold yourself accountable/monitor your progress. These are absolute game-changers in the fields of self-discipline and extreme growth.
